Der Formulargenerator greift auf die xml-Auszeichnung der Formulare zurück. Jeden Joomla!-Formulartyp kann man daher verwenden.

Die Formulardaten können per E-Mail versandt werden und/oder in die Datenbank geschrieben werden. Das Modul bietet noch viele andere Möglichkeiten. Zum Beispiel ist ein Captcha standardmäßig eingebunden und kann - auf Wunsch - verwendet werden.

Weiteres Feature ist das Kaskadieren von Formularen. Sobald ein Formular ein anderes ansteuert, werden bei Bedarf die Formulardaten eingebunden. So ist es möglich, z. B. eine große Umfrage in kleinere Schritte aufzuteilen.

Da alles auf xml basiert, ist dieses Modul vor allem für Entwickler geeignet, die die nötigen Kenntnisse besitzen.

The form generator mod_qlforms is based on the Joomla! xml. Any parameter (calendar, text email etc.) is at your service. Validation both via Javascript and PHP via Joomla! Data is send via email and / or is stored in database table. There are many more features, see yourself:-)

It's also possible to generate a cascading form for major surveys. The data is cumulatingly sent from one form to the next.
